Major John H. Mark, Jr was known to his family and many friends for his extraordinary kindness, leadership qualities, personal ethics and more.
It was his infectious enthusiasm for adventures -- big or small – anytime, anywhere – that has inspired those whose lives he touched to live theirs more fully.
In this spirit, the Major John H. Mark, Jr. Memorial Scholarship continues his up-for-anything approach to life by supporting young scholars at Manhattan College in their quest for adventure, service and challenging new experiences.
